Actor | Presenter | Voice

My name as you now know is George Heron and I am thrusting myself into the world of acting.

As a child I was always an extrovert with an outgoing personality and I was very creative too.

At the age of 16 I left school and joined the Royal Navy, and it was whilst serving that I really grew up and began to take life seriously. I served for 10yrs and by the time I was due to leave the service I was a manager and leader and had gained skills in lots of 'secret' stuff.

After the Navy came my Police Career and I spent 25 wonderful years plodding the beat and chasing down the 'baddies'. I retired a few years ago and since then I have built and developed my own online business, created and run 2 community radio stations and scripted 2 books that are now in publication.

I also entered the Ian La Frenais & Dick Clement script writing award for new talent in 2020 and got myself into the running as a finalist.

My creative side has led me to script my very own sitcom, this was taken up by a stage company and was a sell out on when staged in July 2022. This came about after becoming a finalist in the afore mentioned script writing awards.

I have recently completed Stage and Film acting at the Theatre Royal Newcastle and I am now studying the more involved intermediate course at the Theatre Royal Newcastle

I have completed the SA/Extra's training course and I recently had a small part in VERA Season 12

I was cast as an A&E Doctor in ITV drama Malpractice filmed in Leeds 2022

Cast as a murder victim in Independent Films 'AN ACCUSED' filmed in Yorkshire March 2023

I have completed TV foundation course with a Manchester Based Production company and I have been cast in 'short' being filmed by the same company during SEPT 2023

As an Actor or SA I am very easy to direct and understand direction and instruction very easily and quickly, I guess that's where my military training comes in helpful.

I  have a good mix of uniforms from Royal Navy and Police and therefore can assist in costume when it comes to roles where uniform is required, my police uniform is current 1990-2000's and is complete with utility belt and  equipment.

I also own a very nice Aston Martin 2005 V8 Vantage that is available for use in film or TV
